Introduction
These instructions allow the user to replace Single and
Multiple Slit disk attachment plates for the PASCO OS-
8523 Slit Accessories.
Equipment
This kit includes the following parts:
• Single Slit disk
• Multiple Slit disk
• #4 X 3/8” self-tapping screws (2)
• 3.5mm (inside diameter) curved spring washers (2)
• 3mm (inside diameter) shoulder washers (2)
You will need the following tools:
• #1 Phillips-drive screwdriver

Assembly
➀ Remove old or damaged slit disk attachments. Please
discard attachments.
➁ Assemble supplied replacement slit disk attachments
as shown in Figure 1. Use supplied hardware if neces-
sary. Slit disks must rotate yet still “lock” into posi-
tion. Note orientation of accessory rings.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS.
➂ Please refer to the instruction manual shipped with
your OS-8523 Slit Accessories.
