Installing DataStudio for PASPORT on Mac OS X

Procedure
Complete installation of DataStudio and PASPORT probeware involves the following
steps, described in detail in this document:

1. Software Installation

• Administrator privileges are required for the software installation.
• The installer offers the option to install WavePort, a sound analysis and
generation plug-in for DataStudio.
1. Boot up the computer and log in with an administrator account.
2. Run the DataStudio installer using any of these methods:
• Insert the DataStudio CD, double-click its icon on the desktop, and run Launcher.
Select Install DataStudio from the Launcher interface, or
• From the DataStudio CD’s DataStudio folder, run DS Install, or
• Uncompress and run the installer file DS Install downloaded from PASCO’s website.
