3. If this is the first Xplorer upgraded on this USB port, Windows detects the Xplorer as a
new generic device (an Anchor USB chip) and opens the Add New Hardware Wizard.
Ensure that “Install the software automatically (Recommended)” is selected and click
Next. (You do not need to insert a CD or disk).
4. The Wizard will search for and locate the driver on the hard drive and present the
following message. Select Continue Anyway.
5. Once the driver installation has finished, select Finish.
