Note: Dishwasher Air Gap Body does not include the cap.
Caps, in various finishes, are sold separately.
1. Turn the power off for the dishwasher at the main
circuit breaker.
2. Unthread the collar from the air gap body.
3. Slip the air gap body up through the mounting hole
from underneath the sink deck. Ensure ½” of the air
gap threads are visible above the sink deck.
4. Thread collar onto air gap body. Tighten the retaining
nut to secure air gap body in place.
5. Snap cap (sold separately) onto air gap body.
6. Attach the dishwasher outlet hose (5/8” O.D.) to the
air gap inlet (straight leg of the air gap). Secure hose
with a clamp.
7. Attach the garbage disposal hose or drain hose
(7/8” O.D.) to the air gap outlet (angled leg of the air gap).
Secure hose with a clamp.
8. Turn on power for the dishwasher at the main circuit
breaker. Check for leaks.
