1. Safety Rules Safe Operation Practices for Ride-On Mowers IMPORTANT: THIS CUTTING MACHINE IS CAPABLE OF AMPUTATING HANDS AND FEET AND THROWING OBJECTS. FAILURE TO OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. III. OPERATION I. TRAINING • • Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls and the proper use of the equipment. • Never allow children or people unfamiliar with the instructions to use the lawnmower.
• Reduce the throttle setting during engine run-out and, if the engine is provided with a shut-off valve, turn the fuel off at the conclusion of mowing. IV. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE • • • • • • • • • Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition. Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes may reach an open flame or spark. Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.

Before the tractor can be used certain parts must be assembled, which for transportation reasons are enclosed in the packing. 2 Siège Retirer le bouton de réglage et la rondelle plate qui fixent le siège à l'emballage de carton, le conserver pour le montage du siège sur le tracteur. Basculer le siège vers le haut et le sortir de l'emballage de carton. Se débarrasser ensuite de l'emballage. 3 5. Connection/disconnection of the cutting unit Move the lever forward to connect the drive to the cutting unit, whereby the drive belt is tensioned and the blades begin to rotate. If the lever is moved backwards the drive will be disconnected and the rotation of the blades slowed down by the action of the brake shoes on the pulley. 5. Reposición de combustible Filling up The engine should be run of pure (not oil mixed) unleaded petrol. Do not fill beyond the lower edge of the filling hole. Do not fill over max level. El motor ha de funcionar con gasolina pura (sin mezcia de aceite), sin plomo. El nivel no ha de sobrepasar el borde inferior del orificio de llenado.
4 Oil level Nivel de aceite The combined oil refilling cap and the oil stick is accessible when the bonnet is lifted forwards. The oil level in the engine should be checked before each run. Make sure that the tractor is horizontal. Unscrew the oil stick and wipe clean. Replace the oil stick and screw tight. Remove again and check the level. La máquina tiene un interruptor de seguridad que corta la corriente al motor si el conductor sale del asiento con el motor en marcha y con la palanca de acoplamiento/ desacoplamiento en la posición de acoplamiento. The machine is equipped with a safety switch which immediately breaks the current to the engine if the driver leaves the seat with engine running and with the connection/ disconnection lever in position “connection”.

5 Sistema Per Operazioni In Retromarcia (ROS) • Il Vostro trattore possiede un Sistema per operazioni in retromarcia (ROS). Qualsiasi tentativo da parte dell’operatore di guidare nella direzione opposta con la frizione abbassata comporterà lo spegnimento del motore se la chiave di accensione non è inserita nel ROS nella posizione "ON". ATTENZIONE! Fare retromarcia con la frizione abbassata durante la guida è sconsigliato.
5 Conseils pour la tonte • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Retirer de la pelouse, les pierres et autres objets qui pourraient être propulsés par les lames et devenir ainsi des projectiles dangereux. Localiser et marquer les pierres et autres obstacles fixes afin d'éviter une éventuelle collision pendant la tonte. Commencer par couper assez haut, puis réduire progressivement cette hauteur de coupe jusqu'à obtention du résultat souhaité.

5 • • • • • • • • • • Placer le tracteur sur une surface plane afin qu'il ne puisse pas rouler dans aucune direction. Le frein de stationnement doit être desserré pour effectuer les opérations suivantes. Débrayer la transmission en plaçant la commande de roue libre sur sa position de marche en roue libre (Se référer à la section "TRANSPORT" de ce livret). Démarrer le moteur et mettre la commande des gaz en position de ralenti. S'assurer que le frein de stationnement n'est pas serré.
5 ATTENTION! • • • Ne jamais utiliser un tracteur sur des pentes excédant 15°. Les risques de renversement étant alors très importants. Ne jamais rouler parallèlement à la pente du fait des risques de renversement. Toujours rouler perpendiculairement à la pente, aussi bien en montant, qu'en descendant. Ne jamais arrêter ou démarrer un tracteur en pente. ADVERTENCIA! • • • WARNING! • • • PERICOLO! Do not drive in terrain at an angle of more than max. 15°. The risk for roll-over backwards is large.
5 Switching off the engine Move the attachment clutch control to disengaged position. Move the throttle control between half and full speed (fast) position. Lift up the cutting unit and turn the ignition key to “STOP” position. Abschalten des Motors Stellen Sie die Steuerung der Anhängerkupplung auf ausgekuppelt. Bewegen Sie die Gassteuerung auf die (fixe) Position zwischen halber und voller Geschwindigkeit. Heben Sie das Mähgerät hoch und drehen Sie den Zündschlüssel auf „STOPP“-Position.

Antes de proceder a efectuar el servicio en el motor o en el equipo de corte, hay que hacer lo siguiente: • Apretar el pedal del freno y acoplar el freno de estacionamiento. • Poner la palanca de embrague en posición desembragada. • Parar el motor. • Quitar el cable de encendido de la bujía.
6 Engine hood • • • 1 • • Raise hood. Unsnap headlight wire connector. Stand in front of tractor. Grasp hood at sides, tilt forward and lift off of tractor. To reinstall, slide hood pivot brackets into slots in frame. Reconnect headlight wire connector and close hood. Motorhaube • • • 04010 • 02 47 3 • Motorhaube hochklappen. Scheinwerferanschluß lösen. Vor den Mäher treten. Motorhaube an den Seiten anfassen, nach vorn kippen und aus dem Mäher herausheben.
6 5 2 Reinigung Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keine Hochdruckreinigungsgeräte. Das Wasser könnte in den Motor oder das Getriebe eindringen und die Lebensdauer der Maschine verkürzen. Reinigen Der Lenkungsplatte: • Entfernen Sie Verunreinigungen von der Lenkungsplatte. Verunreinigungen können die Kupplungs-/Bremspedalwelle in ihrer Beweglichkeit behindern, so dass der Riemen durchrutscht und die Antriebskraft verloren geht. 4 WARNUNG: Vermeiden Sie alle Quetschkanten und beweglichen Teile. 1 1.

6 PARA CAMBIAR EL ACEITE ATENCIÓN: El aceite estará caliente si el motor ha estado funcionando durante un tiempo prolongado inmediatamente antes de drenarlo. • Deslice el extensor de drenaje del aceite sobre el chasis situado por debajo del orificio de drenaje. • Coloque un recipiente debajo del extensor de drenaje para recoger el aceite. • Afloje y retire el tapón de drenaje del aceite con una llave de vaso de 1/2 pulgadas (12 puntos) (recomendada para el extensor).

If tires are over or under inflated, it may affect the appearance of your lawn and lead you to think the mower is not adjusted properly. IMPORTANT: Deck must be level side-to-side.

6 3 REGOLAZIONE DELLA LEVA DI COMANDO DEL MOVIMENTO DEL MECCANISMO DEL CAMBIO 1 La leva di comando del movimento del meccanismo del cambio è stata impostata al momento della fabbricazione e non richiede pertanto ulteriori regolazioni. • Allentare il bullone di regolazione di fronte alla ruota posteriore destra; stringendolo poi leggermente. • Avviare il motore e spostare la leva di comando del meccanismo del cambio finché in trattore non si muove avanti o indietro.
6 WASCHANLAGEN-ÖFFNUNG DER ABDECKUNG B Ihre Traktorabdeckung ist außen mit einer Waschanlagen-Öffnung ausgestattet, die Teil der Waschanlage für die Abdeckung ist. L’acqua può infiltrarsi nel motore e nel sistema di trasmissione, riducendo quindi così il tempo di vita della macchina. • Ritoccare danni alla verniciatura per evitare ossidazione. • Cambiare l’olio del motore. • Vuotare il serbatoio della benzina.
