Taking off
Install the battery into the battery box and connect it to the 1.
AR.Drone 2.0.
Place the AR.Drone 2.0 in a clear, flat and dry area and posi-2.
tion yourself at least 1 meter behind it.
Note:
The front of the AR.Drone 2.0 is easily identifiable
due to the camera located in the nose of the device.
Tap the 3.
button then:
a. Make sure the AR.Drone 2.0 is on a flat area then tap the
Flat Trim button.
b. Select the hull that is currently installed on the AR.Drone 2.0 (internal or external) and then
the type of flight (internal or external) that you wish to make.
c. Tap OK to validate.
Tap 4.

> The engines start and the AR.Drone 2.0 stabilizes itself automatically at an altitude of 1 meter.
