Selecting the length unit
The length unit used after switch-on is the last-used unit.
♦ Press and hold the button
UNIT
to select another unit.
You can set the following length units in this order:

Selection of the reference plane
The lower reference plane (base) or the angle stop or the
upper reference plane
(cover side) of the device can be used as
the contact surface for a measurement.
The reference plane is to be set before measurement otherwise the
measurement result diff ers from the actual value.
The reference plane
(base) is set when the device is switched on.

briefl y.
The selected reference plane
is shown on the display .
