Copper Strainers
Copper Strainers
Parker's Copper Strainers are used in refrigeration and
air conditioning systems to filter sediment, to protect
refrigerant metering devices such as capillary tubing,
and to protect other components such as valves and
compressors. Screen sizes are selected to ensure that
all targeted amounts and sizes of particles are trapped
without causing substantial pressure drop.

Features and Benefits
• 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1-3/16", 1-3/8" and 1-5/8" O.D.
one-piece copper shells are available to match
the system requirements of a unit.
• Bifurcated sweat connections in a variety of sizes
provide easy installation.
• Standard 100 and 150 mesh stainless steel
screens available that filter at 140 and 104
microns, respectively; standard 120 mesh brass
screens that filter at 117 microns; other screens
available upon request such as 20, 40 and 200
mesh.
