Series
Outlet regulators modulate flow of refrigerant gas or liquid
to maintain a constant downstream pressure as set-for,
despite fluctuations in load. The regulator will gradually
close when downstream pressure begins to rise above the
setting and will gradually open when pressure begins to fall
below the setting.
A4 Regulators are pilot operated using upstream pressure
for the opening force and requires a minimum 0.14 bar (2
psig) pressure drop to fully open.
A4AO, A4AOE
A4AOS, A4AOES
The regulator cannot maintain set-for pressure if
uncontrolled branch pipe lines feed into the main
pipeline downstream of the A4AO Regulator.
These valves are generally ordered with close coupled
strainer to prevent entrance of foreign material into the
valve and the rest of the system.
