Mask Installation
1. Extend all five straps and pull over your head to cover the face with the mask.
2. In order to properly tighten mask, begin with pulling the top strap snug and begin to
work your way down, tightening the four other straps from top to bottom.
3. Ensure the two bottom neck straps feel secure around your neck.
4. Give the mask a gentle shake to ensure a good seal against your face.
Mask Seal Test
Test Method: Once securely installed on face, cover filter cartridges with the palm of
your hands and inhale slowly. If you feel little or no airflow (difficult to breath) the mask
is well sealed, and you may continue use. If the mask provides no resistance to airflow
(easy to breath) the mask needs to be repositioned and the head straps need to be re
adjusted to eliminate air leakage and provide sufficient seal.
Redo the above test until the mask seal test is satisfactory.
