Use Windows on Your Mac
To switch to Window mode from Coherence mode, do one of the following:
• Click the Parallels icon
in the menu bar, then choose Exit Coherence.
• Press Control-Command-Return.
To switch to Window mode from Full Screen mode, do one of the following:
• Press Command-Control-F.
• Press Control-Option (Alt), click the View menu and select Exit Full Screen.
Status Bar
When using Parallels Desktop in Window mode, the status bar at the bottom of the window shows
clickable icons. The icons are shortcuts that let you control various functions. Most of the icons let
you connect and disconnect hardware devices to and from Windows.
