What’s New with Robotics with the Boe-Bot v2.0?
Robotics with the Boe-Bot v2.0 is the newly revised and expanded version of our most
popular Stamps in Class curriculum. New features of the text include:
New chapter for beginners that introduces BASIC Stamp programming - no
prerequisite required.
Expanded – now includes 8 Chapters and 41 Activities. Was 188 pages, now 319
pages.
All new programs in PBASIC 2.5, featuring DO…LOOP,
IF…THEN…ELSEIF…ELSE, and SELECT…CASE code block instructions
Programs designed specifically for the fast and responsive Parallax Continuous
Rotation Servos.
Audio and LED light indicator circuits for low-battery brownout, infrared
interference, and sensor trouble-shooting
Redesigned tactile whisker contact switches that reduce “blind spots”
New photoresistor experiments now demonstrate these concepts: digital
measurements using resistor divider circuits, and analog measurements with an
RC circuit and decay time.
Improved remote object and distance detection with shielded, frequency-matched
infrared LED emitters and detectors that increase functional distance
The activities in Robotics with the Boe-Bot v2.0 require a few parts not previously used
with Robotics! v1.5. If you already have a Boe-Bot (#28132), you can conveniently
obtain these parts by ordering online. Enter “28105 in the Product Search field at
