ARC GENESIS CALIBRATION

● ARC Genesis is a state-of-the-art room correction system that analyzes the speaker’s
response in your room, then sets the correct equalization parameters to attain optimal
sound. Essentially creating a custom DSP for your exact speaker and room in real time!
● ARC Genesis applique des filtres de réponse en impulsion (IIR) super efficaces en plus de la
topologie de filtre sur mesure de Paradigm pour minimiser le retard et réduire le bruit de gain
de traitement. Le fait de limiter les largeurs de nos filtres IIR et d’appliquer notre topologie
signifie que tout artéfact qui pourrait découler du processus de filtrage est si petit qu’il est
complètement inaudible.
● ARC Genesis provides for multiple user-selected measurement points (we suggest a minimum
of five, but up to ten can be measured), beginning with a measurement at the primary listening
position and then moving across the listening area. This process is critical to properly dealing
with standing waves and ensuring optimal bass performance throughout the listening area.
With ARC Genesis, there are no “bad seats!”
● Contrairement à de nombreux systèmes « d’égalisation de la pièce », le ARC Genesis
applique la correction aux crêtes (modes) et aux creux (antimodes). Le fait de
s’occuper des deux nous permet d’obtenir une réponse beaucoup plus naturelle
et précise de la pièce. De plus, pour limiter les demandes à l’amplificateur et
pour maximiser le ratio signal/bruit, le ARC Genesis applique les limites appropriées à
cette correction.
● ARC Genesis is ultra-accurate! The connected computers 64-bit floating-point processor
does the hard work of calculating the correction curves, which greatly minimizes rounding
errors of the less sophisticated “calculators” built into common AVR’s.
● It’s easy to use (we’ve done the hard work!). Many years of intensive research, development,
and refinement on our part have made it a snap to attain incredible performance in any
room! All that’s required is a PC (system requirements here) or Mac (OS requirement here)
and the included ARC Genesis Microphone.
