Para-Ordnance P-Series semi-automatic pistols are equipped
with a number of safety devices (some are hand-operated
while others are passive) that are designed to minimize
accidental discharges.
HAND-OPERATED SAFETIES
These safeties are activated manually.

This safety device can only be activated when the hammer is
fully cocked with slide fully forward (Figure 1).
