2. Press the Left Soft Key [ ] [New] to write a new
note. When you are done, press the OK Key [SAVE].
VIEW SAVED MEMO
To view a saved memo:
1. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the
keypad, press the Left Soft Key [ ] [MENU], swivel to
the QWERTY keypad and press 9. Settings & Tools,
2. Tools, 9. Notepad.
2. Select a note, then press the OK Key [VIEW].
ERASE SAVED MEMO
To erase a saved memo:
1. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the
keypad, press the Left Soft Key [ ] [MENU], swivel to
the QWERTY keypad and press 9. Settings & Tools,
2. Tools, 9. Notepad.
2. Select a note, press the Right Soft Key [ ] [Options]
then select Erase and press the OK Key.
3. Select Yes and press the OK Key.
ERASE ALL SAVED MEMOS
To erase all saved memos:
1. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the
keypad, press the Left Soft Key [ ] [MENU], swivel to
the QWERTY keypad and press 9. Settings &
Tools, 2. Tools, 9. Notepad.
2. Press the Right Soft Key [ ] [Options], then select
Erase All and press the OK Key.
3. Select Yes and press the OK Key.
USB MASS STORAGE
The USB Mass Storage allows you to transfer files to
or from your PC. In order to use this option, you must
insert a microSD memory card and connect to PC
with the USB cable. The TXT8040 comes with a
1GB pre-installed microSD Card.
1. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the
keypad, press the Left Soft Key [ ] [MENU], swivel to
the QWERTY keypad and press 9. Settings & Tools,
2. Tools, 0. USB Mass Storage.
