Basic Operation
Enjoying multimedia
Listen to music and watch video or TV with a Bluetooth
headset or hands-free device.
1. Pair the handset with a Bluetooth headset or hands-free
device. (Refer to 'Setting up a Bluetooth Connection'.)
2. Tap Menu.
3. Tap Music, Videos, or Live TV.
Note
x Instructions on using Bluetooth headsets or hands-free devices
may vary depending on device type. Refer to the device User
Manual for more details.
x If a headset is connected in stereo, you can connect one more
stereo headset in the device list and listen to music through two
headsets. Sound quality may degrade when you connect two
headsets, due to differences in specifications between them.
x Adjusting the volume on a headset only affects the headset
volume. The volume of the handset must be adjusted on the
handset.
Transferring data
Transfer multimedia files, contacts, and so on from the phone
to other devices.
Transferring photos and videos from Gallery
Pair the phone with a Bluetooth headset or hands-free device.
(Refer to 'Setting up a Bluetooth Connection'.) > Tap Menu >
Gallery > a desired photo or video > XX > connected Bluetooth
device.
Transferring contacts from People
Pair the phone with a Bluetooth headset or hands-free device.
(Refer to 'Setting up a Bluetooth Connection'.) > Tap Menu
> People > Tap and hold a desired contact > Share contact >
Bluetooth > connected Bluetooth device.
Note
x Steps and displayed items differ depending on content type.
x If a device is disconnected while it attempts to connect to the
handset, a window for entering a passcode will appear when you
attempt to pair again. You must enter the correct passcode to
complete the connection.
x Transferrable data types may differ depending on the device type.
x Tap Stop to cancel transferring.
Configuring Bluetooth settings
1. Tap Settings
from the Applications menu
.
2. Tap WIRELESS & NETWORKS > Bluetooth.
x Turn on Bluetooth, if it is turned off.
3. Tap XX > an option
Option Description
Rename phone Change the handset's Bluetooth name.
Visibility timeout
Set the length of time during which the
handset is visible to other devices.
Show received
files
View received files via Bluetooth.
