‘10’ in [10/20] represents the number of unread messages, whereas
‘20’ represents the number of saved messages.
- Outbox: Displays the message you have saved in the SIM memory.
[10] represents the total number of messages saved in the Outbox.
- Saved box: Stores Inbox, Outbox or draft messages in the handset
memory.
[10] represents the total number messages in the Saved box.
- Text Templates: Displays the basic templates.
- Settings: Sets up the text message environment.
- Memory Info: Displays the free space of SIM or the handset memory.
1.1.1 Write New
Select ‘Menu>1.Messages>1.Text Messages>1.Write New’ and press the
[OK] key.
You can write a message composed of the text, image or melody using
this menu.
① Creating a message.
On the first line of the display, you can see the number of
remaining characters you can enter, and the number of current
message you have create like.
Note: For further information on how to enter characters, refer to the
Entering the Text menu.
② While entering your message, press the [Option] Soft key [ ] to
use the following options.
When you press the [Left/Right] key to select an item and press the
[OK] key using the following option;
n Add Picture: Loads the selected item.
n Add Animation: Loads the selected item.
n Add Melody: The melody will be set up and played back once.
n Add Emotion: Loads the selected item.
n Add Template: Insert a clause stored in Template.
n Language: English, French, Simplified, Traditional, Russian, or
Thai. The selected language will be displayed at the bottom of
right corner.
1.1.2 Sending and saving a message
① When you complete entering the message, press the [OK] key.
[Send Option] menu will pop up with the following options.
n Send: Input the receiver’s phone number manually.
n Send & Save: Sends out messages like [Send].
Sent message will be automatically saved in Outbox.
n Save: Saves a written message in Outbox.
