There are two LCD displays: internal and external LCDs. One displays
only icons to show the status of the phone while the other shows
messages, telephone numbers, icons, or other information.
An icon(s) is displayed when a certain function is activated, or a message
has been received, or in idle mode.
The figure above displays a list of all the possible icons that may be
positioned at the top of the screen.
The function of each icon is described below.
With your phone flip closed, you can use SMS, Call Log View, and
Camera functions using the keys on the side of the handset.
With the flip closed, press and hold the [ ]key
to activate the external LCD menu shown in the picture
on the left.
Use the [ ], [ ]keys to scroll through
the menu options, and the [ ]key to select
(short press) or cancel(long press) them.
Signal strength
Call-active
Shows the strength of the RF signal.
The greater the number of bars, the stronger
the signal.
Indicates that a call is in progress.
Ringtone
Vibration
Vib + Ringtone
SMS Message
Indicates that the ringing type is in melody
mode
Indicates that the ringing type is in either
vibration mode or manner mode
(Vibration mode:green/Etiquette mode:blue)
Indicates that the ringing type is either in
vibration mode followed by melody mode or
in vibration melody mode.
Indicates that there is an unread message(s).
When messages have been stored in the SIM
card to the maximum storage capacity, this
icon flickers.
Alarm
Indicates that an alarm has been set.
Roaming
Auto-
Answering
Recorded
message
Indicates that roaming service is supported.
Indicates that the Auto-answering function has
been activated. When the quantity of recorded
messages becomes 10, or the maximum
quantity, it changes to .
Battery Shows remaining battery power.
Indicates that there is a recorded message(s)
that has not been read yet.
