(2) Outgoing call device
Before placing a call, select the device to be used.
[1] Phone
You can place a call in the normal way that you
use your phone to make a call.
[2] Headset
You can place a call through the headset, provided that it has been
successfully registered as the default headset.
[3] Always ask
As soon as you place a call, a popup message will appear asking you
if you wish to use the headset. When you press the OK key, you
make a call using the headset. If you press the END key or CLR key,
you make a call using your handset. The popup message will
continue to appear until the called party answers the phone. In case
of no entry, the call will be made through your phone.
Visibility
(1) Shown to all
Permits search to all other cell phones with Bluetooth technology.
(2) Hidden
Permits search only to cell phones listed in the Paired device list

(1) Name
Allows you to edit the name of your phone, which will be shown to
other phones with Bluetooth technology.
(2) Address
Displays the Bluetooth address of your cell phone.

In order to use a Bluetooth headset to place or receive a call, you must
register the headset first.
(For how to register a headset, see the 8.2 Paired device menu. )
1. Receiving a call
- Upon an incoming call, the ring tone will sound in the headset. At this
time, pressing the Talk button of the headset will connect the call to the
headset. With the call connected, pressing the Talk button one more
time will terminate the call.
2. Place a call
- In case you attempt to make a call by pressing the [ ] key of the
Handset, the call will be connected through the device set in the
[menu]󰦊[8]󰦊[3]󰦊[2] Outgoing call device.
If you wish to make a call by using the Talk button of the headset,
press the Talk button of the headset to display the Call logs screen. At
this time, pressing the Talk button again will attempt to place a call to
the number to which the most recent call was made.Or use the menu
up/down key of the handset to place the scroll bar on a desired
number, and then press the Talk button of the headset to place a call
to that number. Even when the handset flip has been closed, you can
make calls using the same method through the Call logs screen that
appears on the Exterior LCD.
3. Switching the device during a call
-If you wish to switch the headset calling function to the handset calling
function or vice versa during a call, press the Menu key of the handset
to display the sub-menu, and then select 3.Retrieve call in phone or
3.Retrieve call in headset. Please note that as for the menu during a
call, one of the two sub-menu options will appear depending on the
device currently being used.
Or simply press and hold the Bluetooth key on the right side of the
handset. Then, if there is a headset currently registered, the call will
shift between the headset and handset.
