2. Input the URL you want to go to, then press the [OK] key.

Profiles

This function selects or edits WAP connection profiles on your phone.

NOTE: The settings for your WAP service are already entered as required

by your service provider. You cannot modify these default profiles.

NOTE: Creating or editing a profile requires care. The browser cannot

connect to the Internet if the profile information is not correct.

Your phone is compatible with OTA (Over The Air) messages. These are

used by service providers to send connection details directly to your phone.

Please ask your service provider for details of this service.

1. Press the [Menu] Soft key, select 4.MEdia Net, and then select

4.Profiles.

2. To select a profile, highlight it in the Profile List then press the [OK] key.

You cannot select Unedited Profile.

To edit a profile, select it in the Profile List then press the [Edit] Soft

key to select from the following functions.

• Profile Name: Press the [OK] key to change the profile name.

• Home URL: Press the [OK] key to edit the Homepage URL

provided by your service provider.

• Connection Type: Select either WAP or HTTP.

• Proxy IP : If you set the Connection Type to HTTP, Proxy IP is

displayed. Press the [OK] key to edit Proxy IP address.

• Proxy Port : If you set the Connection Type to HTTP, Proxy Port

is displayed. Press the [OK] key to edit Proxy Port.

• Proxy Login ID : If you set the Connection Type to HTTP, Proxy

• Proxy Password : If you set the Connection Type to HTTP,

Proxy Password is displayed. Press the [OK] key

to input the

appropriate password.

• Gateway IP : If you set the Connection Type to WAP, Gateway

IP is displayed. Press the [OK] key to edit Gateway IP address.

• Gateway Port : If you set the Connection Type to WAP, Gateway

Port is displayed. Press the [OK] key to edit Gateway Port.

• Gateway Login ID : If you set the Connection Type to WAP,

Gateway Login ID is displayed. Press the [OK] key to input the

appropriate login ID.

• Gateway Password : If you set the Connection Type to WAP,

Gateway Password is displayed. Press the [OK] key to input the

appropriate password.

• Bearer: Display the bearer type of network access.

• Reset Profile: Press the [OK] key to reset the settings of the

selected profile. Press the Left or Right scroll key to select Yes or

No.

NOTE: You cannot delete a default profile.

Options

Press the [Menu] Soft key, select 4.MEdia Net, and then select 5.Options.
