Call & Message
Note The following Swype options are also available in the Swype
settings menu:
Audio feedback / Vibrate on keypress / Auto-spacing / Auto-
capitalization / Show complete trace / Speed vs. accuracy
Deleting messages
1. Tap Messaging
from the applications menu
.
2. Press Qand tap Delete.
3. Select and tap the trash bin next to the conversation(s) to
remove.
4. Tap Done.
Forwarding messages
1. Tap Messaging
from the applications menu
.
2. Press and hold a message that you want to deliver and tap
Forward.
3. Enter the recipient’s number or tap
, select and tap a
contact.
4. Enter a message in the message field.
5. Tap Send.
Sending a message using a Quick Text
1. Tap Messaging
from the applications menu
.
2. Press Q.
3. Tap Quick text and select and tap a message.
4. Press Q.
5. Tap Send message.
6. Enter the recipient’s number.
7. Tap Send.
Adding a Quick Text
1. Tap Messaging
from the applications menu

2. Press Q and tap Quick text.
3. Press Q and tap Add new.
4. Enter a quick text.
5. Tap Save.
Adding a template
1. Tap Messaging
from the applications menu

2. Press Q and tap Templates.
3. Press Q and tap Add new.
4. Enter the recipient’s number and the message.
5. Tap Save.
Sending a message using a template
1. Tap Messaging
from the applications menu

2. Press Q, tap Templates and select a template.
3. Press Q and tap Send message.
4. Enter a message in the message field.
5. Tap Send.
Attaching pictures to a message
1. Tap Messaging
from the applications menu
.
2. Tap New message.
3. Enter the recipient’s number.
4. Enter a message in the message field.
5. Press Q and tap Attach > Picture.
6. Tap Take a picture, Gallery, Sketch Pad or Handy Memo
