In most cases this causesnoissues to an installation. However, for those instances where the legacy
Panduit SFQ cassette connects to a fully compliant Method A product, a simple solution is to use a
patchcordwheretheLCconnectorsareswitchedintheduplexclip.
To meet the ever increasing requirement of product interoperability, Panduit has modified the SFQ
cassettestoreflectthewiringinFigure2sothatthefirstchannel,Fiber1(blue)startsontheAsideof
the duplex adapter, which in turn follows TIA568C.0 standard and is now compatible with all fully
compliantMethodAproductsonthemarket.
The SFQ cassette modifications are effective beginning 2013.Legacy cassettes have been obsoleted,
andthetablebelowshowsthecrossreferencestothenewreplacementpartnumberswiththesame
wiringschemes.
