About Desiccant
Use the supplied desiccant
The desiccant is supplied with the camera to prevent the lens from mist and condensation.
Note: • Do not expose the desiccant to moisture and do not touch it with wet hands. Prevent
water droplets from entering inside of the lens cover and camera when the lens is
adjusted.
• Desiccant should be replaced after about 3 years. The effective period may be
shortened according to environment. Besides, when removing the front cover to
adjust the camera or process other operations, replace the desiccant with a new one.

How to use the desiccant
Perform the following after adjusting the image focus, etc.
1. Peel the protection seals off the desiccant.
2. Attach the desiccant onto the bottom of the front cover (refer to the illustration below) and
re-attach the front cover to the camera as quickly as possible (within 5 minutes).
Note: When sticking the desiccant, make sure it will not spill over the front cover.
