Treble Adjusts level to enhance or minimise sharper, higher sound output. Equaliser Adjusts the frequency level to suit your favourite sound quality. ●● This function is available when Mode is set to User. ●● Select the frequency and change the frequency level using ●● To enhance the bass sound, raise the level of the lower frequency. To enhance the treble sound, raise the level of the higher frequency.

A Split Programme programming is a Guide link programming which is interrupted by one or more other programmes. Note that Guide link programming (including Split Programme programming) only works reliably if correct information is received from broadcasters.
Teletext Digital text service Digital text services (MHEG) differ greatly from analogue teletext. When you switch to a digital text service, the images you see can contain graphics and text, laid out and controlled in a manner decided by the broadcaster. 1. Select DVB with TV. ●● DVB programmes may have digital text services (MHEG). 2. Switch to a digital text service with TEXT.
Viewing Teletext 1. Recording USB HDD setup Preparations You can record the digital TV programmes to the connected USB HDD and enjoy playing back in various ways. ●● Prepare the USB HDD for the exclusive use of recording with this TV. ●● Connect the USB HDD to the USB 2 port with the USB cable. ●● Be sure to connect the USB HDD to the socket outlet. ●● To remove the USB HDD safely from the TV, perform Safely remove USB in USB Device Setup.

Common Interface Caution If the encrypted message is displayed on the screen, the correct Common Interface (CI) Module and smart card that are required for this service are not inserted. ■■How to insert CI module and smart card ●● Turn the TV off with Mains Power On / Off switch whenever inserting or removing the CI module. ●● If a smart card and a CI module come as a set, first insert the CI module, then insert the smart card into the CI module.
Using Common Interface The Common Interface Module menu provides access to software contained in Common Interface (CI) Modules. ●● Video and audio signals may not be output depending on broadcasts or services. ■■Insert the CI module (optional) ●● Follow the instructions that came with the viewing card to tune in the encrypted channels.
