Before Using the
Product
Carrying the projector
•
When carrying the projector, hold it from the
bottom so that excess vibrations and impact
are not applied. Failure to do so could cause
scratches or damage the internal parts.
•
Do not carry the projector with the adjuster
legs ( P. 17) in an extended state. This
could damage the adjuster legs.
Installing the projector
■ Install the projector on a level and flat
location
Make sure the location is rigid and not wobbly.
■ Do not install the projector outdoor
This projector is for indoor use.
■ Do not install the projector at the following
locations
•
Locations that are not level: This could result
in incorrect operation and product damage.
•
Locations subjected to vibrations and impact,
such as vehicles, ships, etc.: This could cause
scratches or damage to the internal parts.
•
Locations subjected to direct sunlight, or near
heaters: This could result in deformation of the
main unit, or cause scratches or damage to
the internal parts.
•
Locations where there is a risk of salinity, and
locations where corrosive gases may occur:
This could result in product damage due to
corrosion. This may also affect the life of the
components, or damage the product.
•
Near the air conditioner vent: Depending on
the usage environment, “fluctuations” may
rarely occur on the screen as a result of the
heated air from the air outlet port, or hot or
cold air from the air conditioner.
•
Locations with severe temperature variations,
such as near lighting equipment (studio lamps,
etc.): This could affect the service life of the
lamp, or result in deformation or damage of
the main unit due to heat.
The operating temperature of the projector is
between 5°C and 35°C (below 2500 m from
the sea level).
•
Near a high-voltage wire or power source:
This could interfere with the operation of the
projector.
