Basic playBasic play
1 Press [y] to turn the unit on.
2 Press [0, OPEN/CLOSE] to open the disc tray and then
load the disc. Press [0, OPEN/CLOSE] again to close.
3 Press [6, CD] or [OK] to start play.
4 Adjust the volume.
Stop playback
Press [7] (stop).
Pause play
Press [6, CD].
Press again to resume play.
Skip tracks
Press [4/1] or [¡/¢].
During RANDOM or 1-ALBUM RANDOM
play, you cannot skip to tracks that have been
played.
During RANDOM play, you can search
backward or forward only within the current
track. (➡ see “Play Mode function”)
Search through
tracks

Press and hold [4/1] or [¡/¢] during
play or pause.
Skip album
MP3
Press [5 / ∞, ALBUM] in the play mode.
Press [
5 / ∞, ALBUM] once and then the
numeric buttons in the stop mode.

You can view the information of the current track from the display
panel.
Press [DISPLAY] repeatedly during play or pause.

Note:
• This unit supports ver. 1.0 & 1.1 ID3 tags. Text data that is not
supported will not be displayed.
• ID3 is a tag embedded in MP3 tracks to provide information about
the track.

You can repeat program play or other selected play mode.
Press [REPEAT].
“ON REPEAT” and “
” are displayed.
To cancel
Press [REPEAT] again.
“OFF REPEAT” is displayed and “ ” is cleared.
Program playProgram play
This function allows you to program up to 24 tracks.
CD
1 Press [6, CD] and then [7] (stop).
2 Press [PROGRAM].
3 Press the numeric buttons to select your desired track.
Repeat this step to program other tracks.
4 Press [6, CD] to start play.

1 Press [6, CD] and then [7] (stop).
2 Press [PROGRAM].
3 Press [5 / ∞, ALBUM] to select your desired album.
4 Press [¡/¢] once and then the numeric buttons to
select your desired track.
5 Press [OK].
Repeat steps 3 to 5 to program other tracks.
6 Press [6, CD] to start play.
Cancel program mode Press [PROGRAM] in the stop mode.
Replay the program Press [PROGRAM] then [6, CD] in
the stop mode.
Check program
contents
Press
[4
/1] or [¡/¢] when
“PGM” is displayed in the stop mode.
To check while programming, press
[PROGRAM] twice after “PGM” appears,
then press
[4
/1] or [¡/¢].
Add to the program
CD
Repeat step 3 in the stop mode.

Repeat steps 3 to 5 in the stop mode.
Clear the last track Press [DEL] in the stop mode.
Clear all programmed
tracks
Press [
7] (clear) in the stop mode.
“CLR ALL” is displayed.
Press [
7] (clear) again to confi rm.
Note:
• When you try to program more than 24 tracks, “PGM FULL” appears.
• The program memory is cleared when you open the disc tray.
