About allocation settings
Each country allocates broadcast bands according to their particular
needs. This system can receive AM broadcasts allocated in 9 or 10 kHz
steps.
To change the step (9 kHz ! 10 kHz)
q Press [TUNER/BAND] to select FM.
w Press and hold [TUNER/BAND]. The band first changes to AM, then,
as you continue to hold down the button, the current lowest AM
frequency flashes on the lower line, then the minimum frequency
changes and the bottom line disappears.
Repeat this procedure to change the step back.
¡ After changing the allocation setting, the frequencies you previously
preset in the memory will be cleared.
¡ AM broadcasts are interrupted for a moment when you open the
cassette holder.
¡ Personal computers can interfere with reception. Disconnect the USB
cable or move the computer further away from this unit if this occurs.
