This appliance is supplied with a moulded three pin mains plug for your safety and convenience. A 5-ampere fuse is fitted in this plug. Should the fuse need to be replaced please ensure that the replacement fuse has a rating of 5-ampere and that it is approved by ASTA or BSI to BS1362. This system can also receive AM broadcasts allocated in 10 kHz steps. To change the step (9kHz ↔ 10kHz) Press and hold [TUNER/BAND]. After a few seconds the display changes to a flashing display of the current minimum frequency. Continue to hold [TUNER/BAND] down. When the minimum frequency changes, release the button.
CDs 2 3 1 , DEMO STOP /FF, /REW (CD 1) ~ (CD 5) This unit can play MP3, WMA CD-DA (digital audio) format audio CD-R and CD-RW that have been finalized (a process that enables CD-R/CD-RW players to play audio CD-R and CD-RW) upon completion of recording. It may not be able to play some CD-R or CD-RW due to the condition of the recording. The unit contains five CD trays. You can simply listen to the CD on a single tray, or you can select and listen to the CD in a particular tray.
