INTERLACE PROGRESSIVE When you select “PROGRESSIVE”, a message screen will appear. For progressive output, press [e] and then press [OK]. Press [ , RETURN] to cancel.

Typically, USB memory devices. (Bulk only transfer) Preparation Before connecting any USB mass storage device to the unit, ensure that the data stored therein has been backed up. It is not recommended to use a USB extension cable. The USB device is not recognised by this unit.

Enjoying karaoke Using Karaoke mode 1 ENGLISH 2 3 4 Press [FUNCTIONS] to display the Karaoke mode on-screen menu. To select “ON”, press [OK] followed by [e,r] and [OK] to confirm. Sound field and sound quality Enjoy a surround-like effect when using front speakers. The effect broadens when playing discs with surround effects and sound seems to come from speakers on either side of you. Press [SURROUND] (main unit: [SURROUND]). STEREO STANDARD (Within 7 seconds or so) Adjust the level with [u, 2/REW] or [i, 1/FF]. (–3 to +3) A. SRND Repeat step 2 to set the desired sound quality. The original display is restored on the display panel in about 3 seconds.
Using the timers Using the timers ENGLISH The play/record timer You can set the timer to come on at a certain time to wake you up (play timer) or to record a radio station or from the external source (record timer). The play and record timers cannot be used together. Preparation • Turn the unit on and set the clock ( Setting the time, page 13). • For the play timer, prepare the desired music source (cassette, CD, radio, external or USB) and set the volume.
