CDs: CD-DA and MP3/WMA
1
Press [CD 1] - [CD 5] to select the desired
disc tray.
The unit comes on and play starts if there is a CD in
the tray.
2 Press [; OPEN/CLOSE] to open the disc
tray.
Put a CD label-up on the tray as shown, one CD per
tray.
Press again to close the tray.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to put CDs in the other trays.
3 Press [PLAY MODE] to select "1 DISC", "ALL
DISC" or "1 ALBUM (MP3/WMA only)".
Each time you press the button:
1 DISC ALL DISC 1 TRACK 1 ALBUM (MP3/WMA)
A RANDOM (CD-DA) 1 RANDOM (CD-DA)
1 DISC 1-Disc mode
ALL DISC All-Disc mode: play from the disc you
select through to the disc before, e.g.,

4 5 1 2.
1 ALBUM 1-Album mode (MP3/WMA only):
press
[ALBUM
or
] to select the album
4 Press [CD q/ h] to start play.
5 Adjust the volume.

Stop Press [STOP g, -DEMO] Press [g CLEAR]
Pause Press [CD q/ h]
Press [CD q/ h] again to resume play.
Skip Turn the Jog control
down (backward) or up
(forward)
Press [u 2/REW] (backward)
or [i 1/FF] (forward)
Search Press and hold [u 2/REW]
(backward) or
[i 1/FF] (forward) during
play or pause
To change discs
While one CD is playing, you can change the CDs in the
other trays.

Press [; CD CHANGE].

Press [CD 1] - [CD 5] to select the tray.
Press [; CD CHANGE] again to close the tray.
To check which CDs are in the trays (CD CHECK)
A
Press [CD CHECK].
The tray with a CD being played will not open.
If the player is stopped, all trays will open.
Press [CD CHECK] again to close the trays.
•
Do not remove or insert CDs during a CD check.
•
Do not pull out the trays during a CD check.
•
8-cm CDs cannot be checked.
You cannot change to or open other trays when in
program play mode.
