Other ways of playing CDs
A Marking a track (CD-DA and MP3/WMA)
Remote control only
Mark tracks to make it easier to fi nd and play them later.
You can mark one track on each of the discs loaded.
To mark a track
While playing the track
Press and hold [MARKER] until "STORING"
blinks on the display.
The selected track is stored.
•
If there was a marked track on the disc, it is replaced.
To recall and play a marked track
During play or stop:
Press [MARKER].
Note
•
The marker memory clears when you open the CD tray.
•
You cannot use this function during program, 1-Disc
Random and All-Disc Random play.
Using titles to fi nd tracks and albums to
play (MP3/WMA)
Enter up to 10 characters for an album or title search.
Remote control only
Preparation: Press [CD q/ h] and then [g CLEAR].
1 Press [TITLE SEARCH] to select “ALBUM” or
“TRACK”.
Each time you press the button:
ALBUM TRACK
Original Display
ALBUM Search for an album
TRACK Search for a track
2 Enter the characters of a keyword for the
title.
( “Entering characters”, page 12)
3 Press [ENTER].
The search starts and then a match is displayed.
•
To see other matches, press [u 2/REW] or
[i 1/FF].
•
If there is no match, “NOT FOUND” appears.
4 Press [CD q/ h] to start play.
Title search mode is cancelled.
To cancel partway through
Press [g CLEAR].
For your reference
•
The unit remembers the title you entered and it appears
again the next time you press [TITLE SEARCH].
•
Press [DEL] to delete unwanted characters.
