Regarding BD-Video • Enjoy Final Standard Profile functions (_ 24), such as picture-in-picture. The various functions differ depending on the disc. oWhen playing a set of two or more BD-Video discs, the menu screen may continue to display even if the disc has been ejected. • Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio are output as Dolby Digital when "BD-Video Secondary Audio" (_ 33) is set to "On".
Basic play (Playing video contents) Preparation Turn on the TV and select the appropriate video input on the TV. VIDEO1 _ Q Insert an SD card. Insert a disc. Enjoying TV with this unit's speakers You can enjoy TV broadcasts with this unit's speakers. Preparation Confirm the audio connection O to the OPTICAL IN or AUX terminal on the main unit (=_ 7). Press [>, < SELECT] several times to select "D-IN" (DIGITAL IN) or "AUX". Playing music You can play generally available music CD or MP3 files recorded onto a CD-R/RW. Playing an iPod on this unit iPod videos/photos can be displayed on TV, and iPod music can be enjoyed through the system speakers, by connecting your iPod to the Dock for iPod on the main unit. Connection Preparation oTo view videos/photos from the iPod. -Ensure the video connection to the VIDEO OUT terminal on this unit (=_ 7). -Operate the iPod menu to make the appropriate video/photo output settings for your TV.
Playback This system features two different iPod playback modes. The first of these is EXTENDED mode, for playback of music contents. With this mode, the menu screen on the system can be used to search for playlists and artist names, and to play music. The second mode is SIMPLE mode, which can be used for playback of three types of contents music, photos, and videos. With this mode, simple operations such as play, stop, and search can be performed on the display of your iPod.
Playing still pictures You can play still pictures recorded onto a BD-RE, DVD-RAM, CD-R/RW and SD card. If this occurs, turn the sound effects off. Using Subwoofer boost Main unit only You can enhance the subwoofer effect with strong bass. This function automatically surround sound effect. Press [SW BOOST] on the main unit.

Linked operations (VIERA Link TM "HDAVI with the TV Control TM'') What is VlERA Link "HDAVl Control"? VIERA Link TM is a new name for EZ Sync TM. VIERA Link "HDAVI Control" is a convenient function that offers linked operations of this unit, and a Panasonic TV (VIERA) under "HDAVI Control". You can use this function by connecting the equipment with an HDMI cable. See the operating instructions for connected equipment for operational details.

Troubleshooting guide Before requesting service, make the following checks.
