Installation To dispose of or transfer this unit Installation Turn off all the equipment before connection and read the appropriate operating instructions. Be sure to raise this unit when moving, and do not drag this unit. Before disposing of or transferring this unit, be sure to erase all the recorded information by restoring the settings to factory default. Press [SETUP]. Control reference guide This unit (front) 01 Standby/on switch ( ) • Press to switch the unit from on to standby mode or vice versa. In standby mode, the unit is still consuming a small amount of power. 06 Power indicator • Blue: The unit is on. • Red: The unit is in standby mode with the network standby function. • Off: The unit is in standby mode with no function available. 02 Top cover • The top cover can slide to the both sides.

Connections (Continued) AC mains lead connection Note • When the connections are completed, pull the speaker cables lightly to check that they are connected firmly. • Be careful not to cross (short-circuit) or reverse the polarity of the speaker wires as doing so may damage the amplifier. Connect only after all other connections are completed. AC IN terminal DO NOT • Wire the polarity (+/-) of the terminals correctly. Not doing so may adversely affect stereo effects or cause malfunction.
Network settings You can stream online music services or music files from your smartphone/tablet to this unit. To use these features, this system must join the same internet-connected network as the compatible device. This unit can be connected to a router using a LAN cable or built-in Wi-Fi ®. For a stable connection to the network, a wired LAN connection is recommended.

Playing back CDs Lens 1 Press [ ] to turn this unit on. - When selecting “CD” as the input source - When opening and closing the top cover 2 Press [CD]. ■ Repeat Playback/Random repeat playback 3 Open the top cover with a sliding motion and then insert the CD. Press [MENU]. • The top cover can slide to the both sides. • Place the CD with its label facing up, and push the centre of the CD until a clicking sound is heard. Press [ ], [ ] repeatedly to select “Repeat”/“Random” and then press [OK].
Listening to DAB/DAB+ / FM Radio Storing DAB/DAB+ stations Storing FM stations To listen to DAB/DAB+ broadcasts, the available stations need to be stored in this unit. • This unit will automatically start scanning and store the stations available in your region if the memory is empty. You can preset up to 30 channels. • A station previously stored is overwritten when another station is selected for the same channel by presetting.
Using Bluetooth® Listening to music stored on a Bluetooth® device Bluetooth® device 1 Press [ -PAIRING].
