Normally, the camera adjusts the exposure
automatically. However, when the
background is extremely bright, or when
the subject is backlit, you can compensate
by adjusting the Iris manually.

Press (-) or (+) to change the IRIS;
Press (+) to increase the brightness,
Press (-) to decrease the brightness.
Press MENU twice to exit.
There are 7 brightness compensation
levels ranging from -3 to +3.
A blue sky may appear somewhat whiter
when the brightness is increased.
The brightness cannot be adequately
compensated for in extreme backlight
conditions.
The original exposure is automatically
restored when the power is turned off.
