Retroreective type sensor with

polarizing lter (NX5-PRVM5□)

If a shiny object is covered or wrapped with a transparent lm, such as those described

below, the retroreective type sensor with polarizing lters NX5-PRVM5□ may not be

able to detect it. In that case, take the following measures given below.

• Can wrapped by clear lm

• Aluminum sheet covered by plastic lm

• Gold or silver color (specular) label or wrapping paper

• Tilt the sensor with respect to the sensing object while tting.

• Reduce the sensitivity.

• Increase the distance between the sensor and the sensing object.
