1 Remaining Battery Power
As the remaining battery power decreases, the
indication changes as follows:
[ r] l [ ]. When the battery is
completely discharged, the [6] Indication
flashes.
2 Remaining Tape Time (p. 19)
The remaining tape time is displayed in
minutes. (When it becomes less than 2
minutes, the indication starts to flash.)
The displayed remaining tape time may be
shorter than the actual remaining tape time.
Tape Length (p. 19)
230: The Tape Length Indication should be
matched to the tape length of the
inserted cassette (EC30, EC45 or
EC60) to ensure correct indication of
the remaining tape time.
3 Recording Speed Mode (p. 15)
The selected Recording Speed Mode is
displayed.
SP: Standard-play Mode
LP: Long-play Mode
Recording Format (p. 22)
The selected Recording Format Mode is
displayed.
No Indication:Recording was performed in the
VHS format.
: Recording was performed in the
S-VHS format.
S-VHS ET: Recording was performed in the

When you record with the LCD Monitor facing
forward using the Mirror Mode, only the
Remaining Battery Power Indication, the
Recording Indication [¥] and the Recording
Pause Indication [] appear. If the [°]
Indication appears, turn the LCD Monitor so that
it faces backward and then confirm the displayed
warning code.

When you push the [W/T] Zoom Lever up or
down, the Zoom Magnification Indication is
displayed.
