Using the Super Image
Stabilizer Function
1 Press the [D.MODE] Button so that the
[ (S)) ] Indication Lamp next to the
button iights.
•The [ @ ] Indication appears in the Finder.
•When you use this function, the shutter speed is
automatically adjusted between 1/125 s and 1/50
s depending on the brightness of the scene.
■ Cancelling the Super Image Stabilizer
Function
Press the [D.MODE] Button repeatedly until neither the
[ |® ] northe[(^j Indication Lamp next to the button is lit
any more {and neither the [ fiXi] nor the [D.ZOOM]
Indication is displayed any more in the Finder).
•Cancelling the Super Image Stabilizer Function also
resets the shutter speed to 1/50 s. However, after
selecting the Sports Mode or the Portrait Mode,
cancelling the Super Image Stabilizer Function does
not reset the shutter speed to 1/50 s.
■ In the following recording conditions,
the picture stabilizing effect may not be
sufficient:
•Subjects with horizontal or vertical stripes
• Flat subjects
• Dark subjects
(In this case, the [ @ ] Indication flashes in the
Finder. Increase the amount of light)
• Subjects under many fluorescent lamps
• Fast-moving subjects
•Subjects with a flat background
■ When Using the Super Image Stabilizer
Function, the Picture Changes as
Follows:
•The picture quality deteriorates slightly.
• Under fluorescent lamps, the picture brightness may
fluctuate and the colours may be unnatural.

■ Stabilizacni efekt této funkce nemusi
dostacovat pfi natàceni tèchto objektù:
•Objekt s horizontàinimi a vertikalnimi pruhy
• Plochy Objekt
•Tmavy Objekt
(V tomto pfipadè blika v hledàcku indikace [^].

•Objekt pod mnoha fluorescencnimi lampami
• Rychle se pohybujici Objekt
•Objekt s plochym pozadim
■ Pfi pouzivàni funkce stabilizace obrazu
se obraz mèni nàsiedovnè:
• Kvalita obrazu se lehce snizuje.
• Pod fluorescencnimi lampami mùze dojit ke kolisàni
svètiosti obrazu a barvy mohou byt nepfirozené.
