Check the following before contacting the shop or asking for a repair.

Once the kettle has boiled, the power switch is q

Water is dripping from
the bottom of the
body.
Since the kettle is designed to sense steam and turn off q
the power switch, the steam can condense and drip from
the bottom of the body as water droplets.
This is not malfunction.
