Connect the AC adaptor to the power outlet. Connect the telephone line cord to the unit, then to the telephone line jack until you hear a click. Getting Started Battery charging Power failure Charge for at least 7 hours. The unit cannot be used to make or receive calls during a power failure. We recommend connecting a cordedtype telephone that does not use an AC adaptor to your telephone line. When the handset needs charging, the display shows “LOW BATTERY” and there is a warning beep every 2 minutes during a call, recharge the handset before using it again. Useful Information No display Voicemail Voicemail is an automatic answering service offered by your service provider/telephone company. After you subscribe to the service, your service provider/ telephone company’s voicemail system answers calls for you when you are unavailable to answer the phone or when your line is busy. Messages are recorded by your service provider/telephone company, not your telephone. When you have new messages is displayed on the handset if message service indication is available.
