L The base unit’s AC adaptor is not properly connected. Reconnect AC adaptor to the base unit. L You are using the handset or base unit in an area with high electrical interference. Re-position the base unit and use the handset away from sources of interference. L The handset is not registered to the base unit.

Reconnect base AC adaptor.” Place the handset on the base unit, then check if “Charging” is displayed. “Charging” is not displayed. Unplug and then plug AC adaptor properly to both the base unit and AC outlet. “Charging” is displayed. “Charging” is displayed, now. “Charging” is still not displayed. Lift the handset, then try again.

Not displayed Lift up the handset from the base unit or charger. Press {C} at the handset, then check if the display shows “Talk”. No link. Reconnect base AC adaptor. Check if the telephone cord is properly connected to both the base unit and telephone line jack on the wall.

If for some reason the handset is not registered to the base unit, re-register the handset.
