Chapter 5Multi-Unit User Operations
Selecting the Stand-By Mode Display
You can choose whether to display the currently connected base unit number, handset number or no
display while in the stand-by mode. The factory preset is the base unit number.
1 Press .
2 Press G or F until the arrow points to
“Program”.
3 Press OKH.
4 Press G or F until the arrow points to
“Display Option”.
5 Press OKH.
6 While “Standby Display” is at the
arrow, press
OKH.
•The current setting is at the arrow.
7 Press G or F to select “Handset
Number”, “OFF” or “Base Number”.
8 Press OKH.
•Aconfirmation tone sounds.
•The display will return to “Standby
Display”.

9 Press to return to the stand-by
mode.

•You can exit the programming mode any time
by pressing .

Ex. “Handset Number” is selected.
Ex. “Base Number” is selected.
Ex. “OFF” is selected.
