Erasing Messages
The unit will announce the remaining recording time after playback, if it is less than 5 minutes. New
messages cannot be recorded when:
— “
Memory is full ” is heard.
— The number of messages displayed on the base unit flashes rapidly.
— The ANSWER ON indicator flashes rapidly.
Erase some or all of the messages. We recommend you erase unnecessary messages after each
playback.
Erasing all messages
All recorded messages, except the greeting
message, can be erased at one time.
1 Press .
•“
Press ERASE button again to erase all
messages
” is heard.
2 Within 5 seconds, press again.
•Along beep and “
No message ” are heard.
•The base unit display shows “0”.

Erasing a specific message
Press while the message you want
to erase is being played.
•The unit erases the message.
•Ashort beep will sound and the unit will
continue to play the next message.

Recording a Memo Message
You can record a personal message in memory.
1 Press .
•Along beep sounds.
2 After the beep, talk clearly, about 20 cm
away from the MIC.
•The base unit display shows the elapsed
recording time.
3 When finished, press .
•Abeep sounds.
