•If “ ” flashes on the handset display and an alarm tone sounds, move closer to the base unit and
try again.
•You can exit the programming mode any time by pressing .
•When programming is completed, a confirmation tone sounds.**
•If 6 beeps sound on the base unit during programming, a wrong key was pressed. Enter the correct
number.
**What the confirmation tone means
1 beep: The new programmed setting or selection is done.
2 beeps: The setting or selection is the same as the previous one.
6 beeps: The setting or selection is not correct. Try again from the beginning.
