Chapter 1 Preparation
Selecting the Base Unit Ringer Volume/Pattern
You can program the desired base unit ringer volume and pattern.
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 14) and the unit is in the stand-by mode.
Ringer volume
4 levels (HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW, OFF) are
available. The factory preset is MEDIUM. When
set to OFF, the base unit will not ring.
1 Press .

until the arrow points to
“Program”, then press OK

“Setting Base”, then press OK

•“Input Command” is displayed.
4 Press TWICE.
•The current volume is displayed.

•Each time you press a button, the selected
volume is displayed and rings.

•Aconfirmation tone sounds.
•The display will return to “Setting
Base”. To return to the stand-by mode,
press or wait for 60 seconds.

Ringer pattern
You can program the desired base unit ringer
pattern (6 patterns). The factory preset is
pattern 1.

•Each time you press a button, the selected
ringer pattern is displayed and sounds.

•The display will return to “Setting
Base”. To return to the stand-by mode,

•You can exit the programming mode any time
by pressing .
