Hot Key Dial
The dialling buttons (1–9) function as one-touch dials. You can assign up to 9 phone numbers from the
phonebook items into dialling buttons as hot key dials.
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 13) and the unit is in the standby mode.
Storing phonebook items as
hot key dials

Press to enter the phonebook.
•The first item is displayed.
2 Press or until the desired item
is displayed, and press .
3 Press or until “Reg. To Hot
Key” is displayed, and press .
•If already stored an item, “” will be
displayed on the left of the hot key
number.
4 Press or to select a hot key
number, then press .
5 Press or until “Save” is
displayed.
OR
If the hot key number with “ ” is
selected, press or until
“Overwrite” is displayed.
6 Press .
•Abeep sounds and “Saved” is displayed.
The display will return to the phonebook.
You can continue storing other items.
•To return to the standby mode, press
.
Dialling a stored number
1
Press and hold a hot key number (1–9).
2 Press or .
•The number is dialled automatically.
3 To hang up, press .
Clearing an item in the hot key
dial
1 Press and hold a hot key number (1–9).
•The stored number is displayed.

Press or until the desired item
is displayed, then press .
3 Press or until the arrow points
to “Clear”, then press .
•“Clear ?” is displayed.
4 While “YES” is at the arrow, press .
•Abeep sounds and “CLEARED” is
displayed.
