Installing and configuring the KX-P8420 print driver.
1) Insert the CDROM into the CDROM drive. If auto-run is enabled for the CDROM
drive, setup will automatically start. If not the setup.exe file is located in the \installr
directory.
2) Click Next at the Welcome window. Click Yes to agree to the terms on the next
window and the Setup Type window is displayed.
3) Select the installation type desired. “Custom” is recommended.
The default installation of the KX-P8420 is “Compact”. Click Next.
Windows 95/98
• “Compact” will only load the Postscript printer driver.
• “Typical” will install the Postscript driver, Adobe Type Manager and fonts.
• “Custom” will install the Postscript driver, Adobe Type Manager with fonts and
color support files.
