WhenthePINisenabledyouwillbeaskedtoenterthe
PINeverytimethetelephoneisswitchedon.Ifasked,
enterthePINfollowedbyB.ThePINcanbechanged
bypressingBwhen“Change”isdisplayedintheoption
areaofthedisplay.
ThePIN2canbechangedbypressingBwhen
“Change”isdisplayedintheoptionareaofthedisplay.
WithFixedDialswitchedonyoucanonlymakecallswith
thetelephonenumbersstoredinFixedDialareaofthe
Phonebook–see“FixedDial”page18.Emergencycalls
canbemadeatanytime.TousethisfunctionPIN2is
required.
Network
Whennotinyourhomecountryyoumayuseanetwork
thatyoudonotdirectlysubscribeto,thisiscalled
ROAMING.NationalLawmaynotpermitroaminginyour
homecountry.
NewNetworkisusedtomanuallyselectanetworkthatis
availableinyourcurrentlocation.
WhentheSearchModeissetto“Automatic”thetelephone
willsearchthroughthepreferrednetworklistandselecta
newnetworkautomatically.While,theSearchModeis
setto“Manual”thetelephonewilldisplaynetwork(s)that
areavailableinyourcurrentlocationtoaskyoutoselect
one.
ThePreferredNetworkListisusedwhentheSearchMode
hasbeensetto“Automatic”.Thelocationnumbersinthe
PreferredNetworkListshowthesearchpriority.
Selecting“Insert”storesanewnetworkinthecurrently
displayedlocationandthenmovesothernetworksdown,
“Edit”overwritestheoldnetworkwithanewone,and
“Add”storesanewnetworkattheendofthelist.
