13.2 Cleaning the document
feeder rollers
Clean the rollers when documents frequently
misfeed, or when a line or a dirty pattern appears on
documents.
1. Turn the power switch OFF.
2. Open the ADF cover ( ) while holding the
document cover ( ).

3. Clean the document feeder rollers ( ) and the
pad ( ) with a cloth moistened with water, and
let all parts dry thoroughly.

4. Open the internal cover ( ).

5. Clean the document feeder rollers ( ) with a
cloth moistened with water, and let all parts dry
thoroughly.

6. Close the internal cover and ADF cover.
7. Turn the power switch ON.
