12 Paper Jams
12.1 Recording paper jam
The display will show the following:
– "PAPER JAMMED"
"OPEN REAR COVER"
12.1.1 When the recording paper has
jammed inside the rear cover
CAUTION
• Do not pull out the jammed paper forcibly.
1. Hold the rear cover open lever ( ), and then
pull open the rear cover.

2. Push down both green levers ( ) until they
stop.

Note
• If paper is jammed near the automatic
duplex unit (Case 3 on page 169), this
procedure can be omitted.
3. Remove the jammed paper.
