9 Network
9.1 Availability of the network feature
Important
• The network feature (LAN or wireless LAN) may not be available for your unit. See "
List of
available features and equipment" on page 11 whether your unit has the feature.
9.2 Programming features: LAN

DHCP mode #500 When this feature is activated, the following will be allocated
automatically using a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol) server.

– Subnet mask

IP address #501 To set the IP address for the LAN connection. This feature is
available when feature #500 is deactivated.

Subnet mask #502 To set the Subnet mask for the LAN connection. This feature
is available when feature #500 is deactivated.

Default gateway #503 To set the default gateway for the LAN connection. This
feature is available when feature #500 is deactivated.

DNS server #1 #504 To set the primary DNS server for the LAN connection. This
feature is available when feature #500 is deactivated.

DNS server #2 #505 To set the secondary DNS server for the LAN connection.
This feature is available when feature #500 is deactivated.

Machine name #507 To set the machine name.
Enter the name of the unit to recognize on the LAN, up to 15
characters, using the English alphabet and numbers.
• The first and last letter must be an English alphabet or
numbers.
• Hyphen can also be entered using 1 . (2-line LCD models
only) ( )
Note
• In order to recognize the unit on the LAN, the default
name of the unit is assigned automatically. If you
change the name, assign a unique name to avoid
overlapping.
